‘My heart bleeds for my industry’, Actress Opeyemi Aiyeola feels saddened for the instability of the Yoruba movie industry over controversial movie ‘Oko Iyabo’

Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has taken to social media to disclose her sadness towards the industry’s ongoing damage due to the controversial movie ‘Oko Iyabo’ produced by Yomi Fabiyi.

In a post shared on Instagram, Opeyemi Aiyeola mentioned the people her heart feels heavy for in the middle of these controversies.

Speaking further, she said her heart bleeds for the little girl and her family involved in the rape scandal, the upcoming actors featured in the movie, particularly the industry amidst all the mess.

She wrote:
My heart bleeds for the girl in the middle of all this mayhem and her family, my heart bleeds for the upcoming actors whose career hasn’t even started and foolishly/ desperately allowed themselves be used this way, my heart bleeds for my industry ( A platform that has over years made people out of social , family and religious rejects like me 💔🩸😭)

Kemifilani News recalls that TAMPAN, in a statement, condemns Yomi Fabiyi’s new movie, ‘Oko Iyabo’ and has released a press statement to summon him.

According to the press statement, the movie producer and director Yomi Fabiyi will appear before the committee on the 11th of July, 2021.
