Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted to threats from the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria to frustrate her and her colleague Iyabo Ojo in the Nollywood industry.
Kemifilani News recalls that both actresses consistently on social media openly condemn the conduct of their colleague, Baba Ijesha, alleged of defiling the foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne, Princess.
They also clashed with some TAMPAN members, such as Yomi Fabiyi, Lege Maimi, who kicked against them for openly condemning Baba Ijesha.
However, Veteran actor Jide Kosoko during a press briefing over the weekend, said the association is aware of the derogatory statements made by Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing against the Association and the industry as a whole, noting that they will not take further insults.
It also barred directors in the association from working with the Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing.
Commenting on an Instagram blog, Nkechi Blessing mocked the association’s decision, stating they are threatening to frustrate people that can feed their entire generation till the last.
According to Nkechi Blessing, TAMPAN is an association of lawlessness, adding they had earlier said Baba Ijesha is not their member and wonders how they can suspend her when she’s not a member of the association.
