The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced that 96 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the country on Wednesday March 24. A breakdown of the new cases is as follows; Lagos-28, Yobe-20, Akwa Ibom-10, Cross River-9, Kaduna-6, Kano-5, Edo-4, Oyo-3, Plateau-3, Jigawa-2, Osun-2, Borno-1, Nasarawa-1, Rivers-1, Sokoto-1. There are now 162,178 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country and 2,031 deaths have been recorded. 148,726 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
